Test Your Internet Connection Speed Periodically to Ensure Reliability

Bloggers, webmasters, online gamers, online researchers and other individuals using the internet deserve to have a reliable connection. As such, testing your internet connection could become a daily routine if it lags every now and then. This is not actually a requirement if your internet speed is stable and does not vary much from your expectations.

However, in my case, I need to check my bandwidth practically every half hour to see if I’m still online. Thanks to Digitel’s failing connection. :-(

For now, these are the only servers or bandwidth test sites that I can recommend. There are many others out there but these 3 can suffice. They have different data interpretations but generally, when your internet connection is fast, the result of the test will yield a high number either in kilobits (kbps) or kilobytes (kBps).

Also, there are free downloadable sotwares available online that aim to optimize your PC and your internet connection, just Google it and you’ll find something useful. Increasing our internet connection could be a painful task, I tell you. But if you’re satisfied with your internet speed, then just forget about it and just do what you got to do online.
