�EntropySoft, a provider of information integration and content interoperability services, has introduced a .Net software development kit (SDK) for its connectors and Content Federation Server.

According to the company, it is attempting to simplify and normalise the access to all content sources and repositories through the new technology, which is aimed at Windows-based applications. The new technology developed by EntropySoft offers .Net support in addition to the already supported technologies such as, Java, Flex and web services.

The kit, which has been designed to speed up the understanding and implementation of EntropySoft technology, has been completely documented and also offers a reference guide along with code samples and contextual help through Microsoft’s Intellisense.

The .Net SDK, which is designed to be used with EntropySoft's bidirectional connectors and content federation software, enables users to browse through all content repositories and create a document, modify a version, change permissions or even modify metadata in a .Net environment.

The company says that the connectors are used to normalise access to all document repositories. They facilitate the integration of the underlying features of all content repositories into third party applications.

The kit also facilitates the evolution of connector-level integration into integration with Content Federation Server because the connectors API are similar to those used by Content Federation Server. This provides additional benefits to the third party software.

The flexibility offered by the technology enables the software to offer enhanced normalised access and a federation capacity of document applications.
